About Us
Spiritsound, located in historic Spotsylvania, Virginia, is a newly established facility whose staff has a recording and production career that goes back to the late 1960s.

Spiritsound's manager and senior producer, Pete Stover, began recording on two-track sel-sync Sony analog reel-reel tape machines with a built-in two channel mixer and a pair of EV635A microphones back in 1968.

Early projects included home-brew recordings, mixing and editing and "live" music recording of local church groups around the DC area.

Spiritsound's recording advanced in the 80s with 4-track and 8-track Tascam analog tape recorders. Projects included various local folk bands in Virginia, commercial radio production, voiceovers and scoring background music for A/V presentations.

Now, Spiritsound operates a 48 channel digital recording studio and its work has expanded to include: recording, mixing and mastering CD albums for local Christian groups and artists.
